Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle - I can not say enough good about Tom Venuto’s Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle program. The basic premise of the plan is eat more, exercise more. Well, I didn’t have to exercise more, (actually less!) but I did have to exercise differently.
The Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle program may very well have kept me from either becoming anorexic, (yes, I was headed there) or simply giving up and gaining back the weight I’d someone managed to lose over the 18 months prior to my beginning the program. Check it out! I promise you absolutely will NOT be disappointed.


This is the software program I use to plan and track my daily food. I find this program quiet easy to use and clean running - that is it doesn’t hog up my computer’s memory the way Calorie King does.
Diet power tracks exercise, food, macro nutrients, micro nutrients, and the coolest part is that over time it gives you an estimate of your metabolic rate. You really have to be vigilant about tracking every day for this feature to work correctly. I tend to miss days or parts of days here and there so, I haven’t found the rate to be incredibly accurate. BUT it does definitely reflects trends in metabolic rate and mine has increased over the past seven months. Likely thanks to Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle!
